Flute and guitar at Castillo de La Laguna: Dúo Arena y Jable on Sunday

On Sunday 16 August at 12:00, Castillo de La Laguna hosts Aires de Iberoamérica, a recital by the Dúo Arena y Jable.

Flute and guitar travel through the sound worlds of the contemporary Ibero-American repertoire. The concert is part of Noon Canarias, the programme that brings live music into the islands' historic spaces.

Why midday

The hour is no accident: in August, noon is when the stone of a castle is the only cool place on the island. It is also why Noon Canarias works better in summer than in winter.
