The Cine Ambulante de Verano ends here. After touring the island's villages for weeks, the final stop is the Plaza de San Roque in Tinajo, on 20 and 21 August, both nights at 21:00. Free entry until the seats run out.

Thursday the 20th brings «Murder on the Orient Express», Hercule Poirot investigating a killing aboard the most famous train in the world, with every passenger on the suspect list.

Friday the 21st it's «Men in Black», the science-fiction comedy about two agents keeping an eye on the aliens living incognito on Earth. Two films with nothing in common: one shut inside a carriage stopped in the snow, the other never standing still.

The season has reached its fourth edition and this year put together fourteen screenings, two of them on Fuerteventura. It's run by Tenique Cultural.

The point of a thing like this is the format: a big screen set up in the village square, the chairs, the cool that arrives after nine. It's the simplest way there is to fill a square, and on Lanzarote it has worked for four summers.

Come a little early: there's no booking and the seats go.
