Vicente Vallés at the Islote de la Fermina: on Saturday he presents and signs his spy thriller

Vicente Vallés, the face of Antena 3's news, comes to Lanzarote to present his latest novel, La caza del ejecutor. It takes place on Saturday 26 September at noon, in the sala Mirador of the Islote de la Fermina in Arrecife. Free entry, with a signing afterwards.

The book

It is a political and espionage thriller that mixes real events with fiction. It opens in October 2024, when the head of Russian intelligence flees with his family to the Maldives; shortly afterwards they are found dead in strange circumstances, and the Kremlin's message is plain: nobody escapes. From there begins the hunt that gives the novel its title, across several cities and a run of twists.

CACT councillor Ángel Vázquez has encouraged island readers to come along: it is the kind of event Lanzarote does not get often, and the Islote de la Fermina — the islet Manrique laid out opposite the seafront — is a setting worth the morning on its own.
