OM Dominguez plays La Recova in Arrecife on Saturday 29 August at 20:30

La Recova in Arrecife hosts a concert by OM Dominguez on Saturday 29 August at 20:30. The Gran Canaria musician has built a sound that sits between urban music, pop, Latin rhythms and Canarian roots. Access is by advance invitation through Ecoentradas.
Oscar Dominguez Diaz, who performs as OM Dominguez, won Sonora 2025 and has since become a regular presence on the main music circuits in the Canary Islands. His live set is usually presented alongside The Village Band, the group with which he has appeared at events such as the Festival Boreal and Starlite Occident.
Recent shows have drawn on songs including Tierra, Agua, Fuego, Familia, Crudo, Reptil, Nada and Esto no es una cancion, plus material from his Elementos project. His recent discography also includes Aire, released with Ibaute, and new live sessions issued during 2026.
The venue puts the concert in the middle of the island's capital, a short walk from the lagoon of El Charco de San Gines and the main shopping streets, which makes it an easy addition to a Saturday evening in town.
Practical notes for visitors
Because entry works by invitation rather than paid tickets, it is worth securing a place on Ecoentradas before travelling: capacity is limited and there is no box office on the night. Arrecife is the hub of the island bus network, so buses from Puerto del Carmen, Costa Teguise and Playa Blanca run frequently during the day, but late evening return services are thinner and should be checked in advance. Lyrics are in Spanish, though the rhythmic mix of the live band travels well regardless of language.
