'Tardeos' come to Arrecife's Parque Tematico, 27-29 August

Arrecife's Parque Tematico hosts the first Tardeos Arrecife from Thursday 27 August: three days combining live music, DJ sets, family entertainment and food stands. The timetable is the same each day, from 18:30 to 23:30.

The programme takes place in the newly fitted-out area next to the children's playground, with an open-air terrace and catering. The aim is to make this seafront space in the island's capital work as a meeting point for families and visitors of all ages during the summer evenings.

The line-up brings together Toti Sanz, Malpeis, Tana y Cia, Kalima and Jaleo, with a different DJ closing each night. Thursday 27: Toti Sanz at 18:30, DJ Diego Diaz at 19:30/20:00 and 21:30, Malpeis at 20:00. Friday 28: Tana y Cia at 18:30, DJ Basi Coco at 20:00/20:30 and 22:00, Kalima at 20:30.

Saturday 29 closes the run with Jaleo at 18:30, DJ Julian Marrero at 20:00/20:30 and 22:30, and Chucho Gomez at 20:30.

The afternoon format, with a playground right next door, makes this an easy option for anyone travelling with children who would rather not stay out late. If you drive, bear in mind that the area around the Parque Tematico fills up quickly on August weekends: from early evening it is usually simpler to park further away and walk the last stretch along the seafront. The busiest window matches the main concerts, between 20:00 and 22:00.
