Rosana comes home: thirty years of 'Lunas Rotas' on show at La Casa Amarilla in Arrecife

In 1996 a young woman from Arrecife released a debut album that became one of the best-selling records in Spain of its time. It was called Lunas Rotas, and she was Rosana Arbelo. Thirty years on, the record returns to the island it came from: La Casa Amarilla in Arrecife has opened "Las sAlas de Arte, by Rosana. 30 años de Lunas Rotas", organised by the Cabildo.

What's inside

This is not a glass case of keepsakes to look at quietly. There are lyrics, album covers, instruments, tour and backstage photos, music videos, a stage and a room screening her documentary series. And there is one feature that will draw a queue: the Lunas Rotas cover rebuilt so visitors can step inside it and become part of the picture.

The show does not only look back. Its final section covers what Rosana is doing now, the VidaJuego and OMOW projects, and the programme will change over the months, with workshops and new activities.

Opening hours

Free entry. Monday to Friday 10am–2pm and 2:30–6pm, Saturday 10am–2pm. Closed Sundays and public holidays. Until 14 November.
