Thirty-five stalls at Yaiza's Christmas market: applications close on 26 October

If you make crafts, sweets or home produce and want a stall at Yaiza's Christmas market, now is the moment. The council has opened the application window: 3 to 26 October 2026.
The numbers
• 35 authorisations are being awarded for street trading at the market.
• The rules and the call were published in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia, issue 118 of 2 October 2026.
• The deadline to apply is 26 October.
Why not to wait
Thirty-five pitches in a municipality like Yaiza, which fills up in December between Playa Blanca and the inland villages, is not many. Calls like this close quietly, and whoever notices late waits another year.
The full text of the rules — requirements, paperwork and award criteria — is in the 2 October gazette and on Yaiza council's channels.
