The Canary Islands Music Festival brings eight events to Lanzarote in January and February

Lanzarote is again on the route of the Canary Islands International Music Festival, whose forty-third edition runs from 9 January to 4 February 2027 with 56 concerts across the eight islands. Eight of them come here.

The island programme is not only classical: it combines classical music and jazz, events designed for families, film with live music and formats that bring different genres together. It widens the audience without lowering the bar.

The biggest date is 30 January at the Jameos del Agua auditorium: the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra arrives led by trumpeter Pacho Flores — who will also play flugelhorn and corno da caccia — with cuatro player Jesús 'Pingüino' González. The programme sets baroque and classical alongside music of Latin American roots, and includes a world premiere.

The festival runs from 9 January to 4 February 2027. The Jameos concert is on 30 January: for a hall like that, with that name on the bill, keep an eye on when tickets go on sale.
