Nine days of fiestas in Tinasoria: opening today with Lanzarote Swing, fireworks on the 27th
From today, Saturday 19, until Sunday 27 September it is Tinasoria's turn: the small village in the municipality of Tías takes to the street for nine days.
The opening
Lanzarote Swing kick things off, on a night paying tribute to Melquiades García Montelongo.
In between
Home-grown parranda music from Pal Porrón, El Golpito, Los Gurfines, Los Jarvac and Panavi. And the village at play: Canarian bowls tournaments, children's games, a zumba workshop, a community barbecue, beauty pageants and a drag queen gala.
The finale
The last weekend, 26 and 27, brings verbenas with Rika Banda, Nueva Estela and Tremendo Son, a Fiesta de Colores with water games, and fireworks to close.
