Ritmos del Mundo: three days of dance, music and world kitchens in the square in Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is home to people from dozens of countries, and that is not a brochure line: it is what you hear walking through the town. From Friday 2 to Sunday 4 October, the Plaza del Carmen puts it on stage with Ritmos del Mundo 2026, three days of dance, music and performances from around the world, organised by Yaiza town hall.

What is on

A programme of artistic activities — dance, music, performance — alongside tastings of traditional dishes from different countries. You watch, you listen and you eat, which is the most honest way to describe a mixed community.

Practical details

The Plaza del Carmen is in the heart of Playa Blanca, a short walk from the seafront and reachable on foot from anywhere in the centre. The invitation is to the whole island, not only to residents of the municipality.
