'Supersaurio' on stage 26 September: precarious work, told with humour

The company Ángulo Producciones presents its stage adaptation of Supersaurio, a novel by the young writer Meryem El Mehdati.
It runs on Saturday 26 September at 20:00 at the Teatro Víctor Fernández Gopar “El Salinero”. Tickets 10 euros. Organised by the Cabildo de Lanzarote with the Canary Islands government.
With humour and music, the play stages the contradictions of a society that promises success: insecure work and the search for identity, seen by a generation that was not given its parents' promises.
Why it lands here
El Mehdati writes from Gran Canaria and tells the Canaries from the inside: not the postcard island, but the one people work on. Where tourism sets the terms of employment, the subject needs no explaining.
