DJ Lady L and Daniele MAD at the Palacio del Marqués on Sunday 6 September

The courtyard of the Palacio del Marqués in Teguise fills with music again on Sunday 6 September. The afternoon opens with DJ Lady L, on the decks from 6pm to 8pm, and carries on with DJ Daniele MAD from 8pm to 10pm: four straight hours, outdoors, at another Domingos del Marqués session.

The format shifts from last month. In August the series set itself one non-negotiable rule — vinyl only — with Agosto n Vinyl and the turntables of DJ Azafrán and Daniele MAD himself. This Sunday it returns to the classic, digital approach: no constraint on the format, all the attention on the selection.

The series, meanwhile, keeps looking for djs for the early-evening slot in the outdoor patio. That is the thinking behind Domingos del Marqués: listening at a civilised hour, late afternoon sliding into evening in an open courtyard, rather than a late-night club set.

Getting there

The Palacio del Marqués is at Calle Herrera y Rojas 7, in the old centre of Teguise, a short walk from the square. If you drive, leave the car at the edge of the old town: the streets around the plaza are narrow and the village is busy on Sundays.
