Burger Fest Canarias in Playa Honda: two days of burgers, and the public votes

On 18 and 19 September the Parque Urbano in Playa Honda hosts Burger Fest Canarias, a new food festival bringing specialist restaurants from around the archipelago to the island. It is part of the Playa Honda fiestas programme.

Over the two days each place presents its burgers — different styles, ingredients and combinations — and here is the part that matters: the winner is decided by the public. Whoever tastes, votes, and that vote decides which is the best burger in the Canaries.

Alongside the grills there is a programme of workshops, activities and live music: it is designed as two days to spend there, not a stall where you eat standing up and leave.

How to plan it

Playa Honda is minutes from the airport and from Arrecife, and the Parque Urbano is inside the village. It is the weekend of the local fiestas: arrive early and leave the car away from the park.
