La Bodega de Santiago, Canary cooking in a two-hundred-year-old house

It occupies a typical Lanzarote casona more than two hundred years old, at the entrance to Yaiza on the road up to Timanfaya. The tree-shaded courtyard is why people come back.
The cooking is market-led with a clear Canary accent: much of the produce comes from Lanzarote, the rest from the other islands. The menu changes with what is available.
